These classes will begin starting this Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 and end Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014.
1. “Wild At Heart”
Led by Jason Wu
Every man was once a boy. And every little boy has dreams, big dreams of being the hero, of beating the bad guys, of doing daring feats and rescuing the damsel in distress. But what happens to those dreams when we grow up? Walk into most churches, have a look around, and ask yourself: “What is a Christian man?” Without listening to what is said, look at what you find there. Most Christian men are…bored. We will try to invite men to recover their masculine heart, defined in the image of our God, a man created in the image of God with a warrior’s heart—and how to fight the good fight for what’s right.
It’s time to fight like a man. For God’s Sake, FIGHT.
This class is intended for brothers only, but we do welcome sisters if they find it interesting. This class will be more discussion and sharing, rather than “teaching”. Be prepared to share and discuss.
2. “Women of the Bible”
Led by Linda Yen-Woo
This class will study some of the great women in the Bible. We will gain more understanding of their strengths, characters, and circumstances that make them such, great and godly women.
3. Continuation of) The Book of Proverbs: Life is a symphony when God is the Conductor
Led by Min. Rosie Hao & Teachers (teaching schedule here)
Hope Center Lobby Area
Don’t just make a living; make a life!
Proverbs belongs to the Jewish wisdom literature. It is not just a book of manners, a book to make the bad people good, or the good people nice, it offers a key to life! What a person is like to live with, or to employ; how he manages his affairs, his time, and himself. Does this pretty sister talk too much? Does this friend drop in too often? The summary is, “Is this wisdom or folly?” Proverbs helps you to make a life with God as the Conductor.
4. Christianity 101
This class presents eight basic beliefs of Christianity – Becoming a Christian, God, Christ, Holy Spirit, Salvation, The Bible, to be Born Again & Baptism, and Church Life & Devotional Life.
Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested!
5. Children’s Sunday School
