These classes start on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 and end Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015. They run every Sunday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Hope Center after our Sunday Service.
1. “His Needs, Her Needs”
Led by the Kara Cell Group
It is definitely not easy for a marriage or even a dating relationship to survive these days. We currently have many couples in our church, all of whom are in different stages of their relationship. We want to see all these relationships not only survive, but thrive to the fullest.
This quarter Kara cell group will lead a topical Sunday school, with the focus on building a life-long marriage. We will be studying from a book, “His Needs Her Needs,” and discussing what needs have to be fulfilled for a relationship, especially a marriage, to work successfully. Breakups, affairs and divorce arise when needs go unfulfilled. This class will be fun, enlightening, informative, and very applicable. Five entertaining couples will be teaching. Please join and let’s learn together.
You do not need to be in a relationship to join this Sunday school.
2. “I Am: Discovering Who Jesus Is“
Led by Michelle Yeow & Jeffrey Su
In Heb. 12, Paul refers to Jesus as the “founder and perfecter of our faith”. Paul also says in Col. 1, “all things were created through [Christ] and for him…he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” If indeed Jesus stands at the very center of the Christian faith, an investigation regarding the identity of Christ is not merely warranted, but crucial. In this class, we shall explore the question: who is Jesus? Specifically, we will examine who Jesus himself claims to be.
3. “Membership Class”
Led by Min. Greg Woo
This class will discuss and explore the foundations and doctrines that our church is founded upon. We will explore topics such as salvation, consecration, and much more as we delve into what the Bible says about them. Upon completion of the class, consistent attendees will become full fledged members of Faith Bible Church!
4. Children’s Sunday School
This class is for children (toddlers to pre-teens).
The Children’s Ministry works with children and encourages them to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching them about the Bible and God and nurturing a Biblical based lifestyle. If you have a desire to teach and mentor children, please contact Wing at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
