Sunday School March 2015 – May 2015

These classes start on Sunday, Mar. 1, 2015 and end Sunday, May 31, 2015. They run every Sunday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Hope Center after our Sunday Service.

1. “The Bible: An Overview
Led by Michael Ren
Room 102

We often study the Bible a book or a theme at a time in order to attain deeper and greater understanding of certain points. However, we might be left with several questions, such as, “Well, what about the rest of the Bible?”, “What is THE point of the Bible?”, “How does this tie in with…?”,, and more. Although we won’t be able to answer all of our questions regarding the entirety of the Bible, we will aim to look at the major, significant events in the Bible. This means we will be looking at the Old Testament a lot (if you look in your Bible, you will see that most of the pages contain the OT) and how it connects to the New Testament. Over the course of this Sunday school quarter, we will be painting the big picture of the Bible in very broad strokes as you fill in the fine details with messages, other Bible studies, and devotionals.

2. “Christ-Centered Lifestyle
Led by Jenny Eng, Jennifer Huang, & Mike Chang
Room 101

As followers of Christ, we know that our lives should be Christ-centered. We know that we should conduct ourselves in a manner that is pleasing to God, centered on Christ and our “daily life may win the respect of outsiders” (1 Thessalonians 4:12). Colossians 1:10–“so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.” In this class, we will be finding out what this really means. Where do we fall short? Can we accomplish this; if so, how? Can we do this at home, amongst neighbors, at work? Come and literally share your life with us.

3. “Membership Class
Led by Min. Greg Woo
Room 106

This class will discuss and explore the foundations and doctrines that our church is founded upon. We will explore topics such as salvation, consecration, and much more as we delve into what the Bible says about them. Upon completion of the class, consistent attendees will become full fledged members of Faith Bible Church.

4. “Christianity 101”
Led by Min. Rosie Hao & Linda Woo
Room 105

If you would like to know more about Christianity and its teachings, Christianity 101 covers basic doctrines and concepts for taking steps to making a strong commitment with Jesus Christ.

5. “Children’s Sunday School”
Room 103
This class is for children (toddlers to pre-teens).

The Children’s Ministry works with children and encourages them to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching them about the Bible and God and nurturing a Biblical based lifestyle. If you have a desire to teach and mentor children, please contact Wing at for more information.
