1. Our Wednesday night prayer meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and meet in Hope Center room 106.! We will have a time of prayer and fellowship every week. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” -Acts 2:42
2. VBS Volunteers needed to help out King’s Cross Church!
King’s Cross Church of NY is looking for three to four volunteers to help them out with their VBS at P.S. 20 on Saturday Aug. 16, and 23rd from 1-4 p.m. No training necessary. Please speak to Min. Greg if you are interested.

3. Mission Trip to Mexico
Praise God that out YUGO Mission trip team has left to Tijuana Mexico yesterday.
They will be returning this coming Saturday, Aug 15. Pray for their continued safety and heart to minister to the local community. Pray for Min. Greg Woo, Anna Lam, Howard Tai, Thomas Wong, Sunroot Liu, Tiffany Chiu, and Tracy Wang. After 17 years, this will be our last YUGO Mexican Ministry trip. We are so glad to have over 100 members from our church participate over the years. We have witnessed hundreds of people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Please continue praying that God bears great fruit in Tijuana.
Continue to pray for this year’s team as they fundraise the last $2,100 for the trip. Overall costs are estimated at $8,200, covering registration, plane tickets, rental vehicles, gas and tolls, insurance, and other costs. The team and fundraising efforts have already contributed $5,100. If you would like to contribute, please make checks payable to Faith Bible Church with a memo: YUGO.
4. Faith Summer Day Camp–7/6-8/30 (8 weeks) at Hope Center
Details: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for ages 4-14
Activities: Joyful Bible Camp, reading, math, movies, arts and crafts, French, singing, and extra-curriculum courses (guitar, chess, Chinese, art, choir, and Lego projects). Outdoor activities are only available at our Hope Center location (sports, bowling, ice skating, zoo, museums, Hall of Science, library, and movies).
Tuition: $50 Registration fee | $900/8 weeks, $750/6 wks, $600/4 wks, $450/2 wks. See registration form for family member and early bird discounts.

4a. Lego and Duplo donations!
If you have lego or duplo pieces to donate to our Summer Day Camp, please bring them in and hand them to Jon Su, or leave them at Phil’s desk in Hope Center office room 104. If you wish to drop it off at our Main Church location, please let the receptionist know that it is for the Summer Day Camp.
5. Church-Wide BBQ
–Sun. Sept. 20th 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Hope Center Sanctuary and Parking Lot.
All are welcome to join us for a great time of worship, free food, and fun! The BBQ will start with praise right after the Chinese service in the sanctuary.
6. Movement Day—Wed-Thurs Oct. 28-29 7am-5pm
Movement Day is catalyzing leadership teams from the world’s largest cities to serve their cities more effectively by advancing high-level, city-changing collaborative partnerships.
Register by Sept 14 for the early bird rate of $149 per person. Groups of 10 or more are $139 per person.
The Mission of Movement Day is to Cultivate Gospel Movements in Cities by:
-Facilitating unity and collaboration amongst Christian leaders to address today’s urban issues;
-Fostering an environment where City Networks are strengthened; and
-Inspiring and challenging Catalytic Leaders to maximize their leadership potential.
7. Refuel: We Believe
Concert on Friday, Oct. 30th from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Hope Center Sanctuary
Want to rebuild the lives intended? At the Refuel concert, we will partner with Restore NYC to raise awareness and support the end of sex trafficking. We believe in the unity of the community through Jesus Christ will end this fight. Here are some ways to learn more and/or help:

8. Recycle Your Printers and Ink Cartridges–If you have any printers or ink cartridges that can be recycled, please give them to Min. Greg or Phil Yeh. Our church can get credit for these supplies.
